"I've been learning qigong with Tunde for 3 terms now. I always know qigong and tai chi are good for general health. My routine exercise used to be just yoga, running and swimming. By chance I accompanied a friend to join Tunde's qigong class late last year.
After the very first class, we both left the class feeling energized and blissful. I fell in love with this art straight away. Since then I practice qigong every second day if not everyday. I notice my legs and core strength have improved so much that my back and hip pain have significantly reduced. One of the many benefits of practising qigong I've recently experienced is that when I went back to my Bikram yoga class after one month's break, I was expecting a drop in my stamina.
Not only I noticed my legs are stronger, my concentration has also improved. I'm extremely glad that I've discovered the beauty of qigong. I highly recommend everyone to have a go and see the difference yourself. It's particularly good for rehab, injury prevention and maintaining general health.

We are focusing on Daoyin Yangsheng Gong Shi Er Fa Health Preservation Exercises (Mind Leading Qi. 12 Method of Healing Chi) in Term3. 

A great qigong or chi gong sequence from professor Zhang Guangde: Guiding and Harmonizing Energy to Regulate the breath. Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong Shi Er Fa is a new series of Qigong exercises that was designed and compiled by the Chinese Health Qigong Association. It consists of 12 steps of exercises from over 50 routines of Daoyin health qigong developed since 1974 by Zhang Guangde, a professor from the Beijing Sports University. Based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine concerning viscera and meridians, yin-yang and the Five elements, and qi and blood. This new set of qigong exercises combines Daoyin with healthcare, limb exercises and mental cultivation, being graceful in movements, easy-to-learn, suitable for all ages, and effective for keeping good health and prolonging life. What is the Reiki?

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing. Reiki energy is transferred by the gentle placing of hands on your own body, that of another person and, or their energy field. Heal and harmonise the body, mind and spirit with Reiki. Reiki speeds up the healing process and supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Reiki can help cleanse toxins from the body and boosts the immune system. Reiki balances the energy centers of the body (the chakra) and vitalizes the body and mind reducing stress and anxiety. It helps to alleviate chronic pain and helps to heal emotional issues and calm an overactive mind.

When you experience Reiki healing an amazing feeling of peace and energy will flow through your body. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. During a Reiki treatment, the patient usually lies fully clothed on a padded table in a warm, comfortable room. A thorough session lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. For stress reduction one to two sessions are satisfactory, however for chronic conditions long-term treatment may be recommended. Due to its gentle nature, many people fall asleep during this soothing experience of healing.
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feeling of peace, security and well-being. Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki is a healing touch (and non-touch) technique for stress reduction and relaxation that supports the body’s natural healing functions.
